Tirzepatide Access Has Changed – Here's How We're Supporting Our North Shore Patients

Updated: Apr 10

Over the past year, medications like Tirzepatide (Zepbound) have transformed medical weight loss — offering new hope and real results for patients struggling to lose weight. But with that popularity came supply challenges, and many patients in the North Shore area turned to compounded versions of these medications while they were on the FDA shortage list.

Now, that’s all changing.

Tirzepatide Is No Longer in Shortage – Why That Matters

The FDA has officially removed Tirzepatide from the drug shortage list. This is a good thing — it means the medication is now more widely available through official channels like Eli Lilly.

But it also means that compounding pharmacies can no longer legally produce it — and that’s left many patients suddenly without access.

If you were receiving compounded Tirzepatide through an online service, telehealth-only platform, or a clinic that doesn’t have a licensed medical provider, you may now be left without a clear next step.

At our Peabody, MA clinic, we’re here to make sure you don’t fall through the cracks.

Introducing the Zepbound Membership Program

To help patients across the North Shore continue safe, effective weight management, we’ve launched our Zepbound Membership Program — led by internal medicine expert Sarah Duffy, FNP.

This program provides structured, personalized care for anyone currently taking — or hoping to begin — a GLP-1 medication like Tirzepatide.

What’s included:

  • Initial Visit: $150 A full medical screening with Sarah (in-person or telehealth) to assess your eligibility, weight goals, medical history, and lab results.

  • Ongoing Care: $99/month Monthly follow-ups to monitor progress, adjust your plan, manage any side effects, and support long-term success.

  • Safe Medication Access We’ll guide you through Eli Lilly’s cash-pay options, provide ongoing titration guidance, and ensure you stay on the safest, most effective plan.

Semaglutide Changes Are Coming, Too

It’s not just Tirzepatide. Semaglutide (the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy) is also expected to come off the FDA shortage list soon.

That means compounded Semaglutide will likely no longer be available, just like Tirzepatide.

The time to plan your next step is now — and we’re ready to help.
